The mechanical sculptures of Norwegian artist Kristoffer Myskja are all a bit
strange, but the strangest of all is the "smoke machine" that literally smokes cigarettes. The work of art has a small brass device that has a prominent flight of cigarettes. Each cigarette is loaded on a support, which is lit and smoked slowly from a air valve that is operated electrically. While the wheels are spinning, the cigarette slowly disappears, leaving only the filter. The machine then ejects the ashes of the
cigarette on the floor and is loaded into the next bracket.

strane, ma la più strana di tutte è la ” macchina del fumo” che letteralmente fuma sigarette. L’opera d’arte è dotata di un piccolo dispositivo in ottone che dispone un prominente rampa di sigarette . Ogni sigaretta viene caricata sopra un supporto, dove viene accesa e fumata lentamente da una valvola ad aria che viene azionata elettricamente. Mentre gli ingranaggi girano, la sigaretta scompare lentamente e rimane solo il filtro. La macchina poi espelle le ceneri della sigaretta sopra il pavimento e viene caricata la prossima nel supporto.
